Robert "Bob" Bertucelli 1946-2009
Robert "Bob" Bertucelli passed away gently in his sleep on March 26, 2009 after a courageous battle with a brief illness. Bob, a longtime resident of Santa Rosa, and 30 year police veteran (7 years with Marin County Sheriff and 23 years with the City of Santa Rosa) will be missed by a long list of people whom he touched throughout his life, including his two sons, Jason of Sausalito, CA and Daniel of Santa Barbara, CA; his brother Ron of San Mateo, CA, his first wife and friend, Linda Henderson of Santa Rosa; daughter-in-law Sarah; daughter-in-law to-be Megan; his many friends to whom he was so close, and finally his two year old grandson Tanner whom he loved so dearly. Bob loved being a police officer for the city of Santa Rosa and was responsible for many acts of bravery that helped keep the citizens of Santa Rosa safe, But later in his life he found a more important love and that was of his family. I think it even amazed him how much he could love his grandson. He could always make you laugh, even when you didn't feel like it, and lit up a room when he walked into it. So here's to you dad. I hope you are teeing off on the 1st hole at Augusta right now with Jack, or landing a big salmon in Alaska with Tom. We will miss you. A Celebration of life to be announced.

Westmoor Reunion Stimulus Package
Not to be left out, the committee has decided to create our own stimulus package. This is a bailout for those who have not sent in their payments yet. Although the original cut off for discounted tickets was April 1st, we have decided to extend that date to April 15th. So you have 2 more weeks to send in your $105 for a weekend of great fun with old friends. Remember when you send Uncle Sam your check, to write one out to the reunion as well.
As our thoughts go to our upcoming 45th reunion you may remember some of the things on this post. It's a celebration of American life in better times (the 60's). Grab a Coke, sit down and enjoy! click here
We now have over 55% of the class on email. We have new email addresses for the following people since our last blog - see the website for the addresses.
Jere Ribble
Jim Quibell
Jane Miller Rende
Herb Meneken
Dan Brachmann
Frank Bento
Gary Hennings
Dennis Tuohy
Vicki Holmgren Pappas
Marsha Langsam Nohl
Al Contreras
Sharon Castle
Pat McGovern
Paul Anibale
We're still waiting to hear from lots of you on your choice of saturday activities during the reunion. We especially need to hear from the golfers so we reserve sufficient tee times.
We're excited that so many classmates are able to come this year and we are looking forward to seeing everyone. We're saddened that so many are dealing with issues of ailing parents and wish them well. Our hearts are with you at this time.
We invite everyone, especially those who can't be with us to send in a page about themselves with or without a picture to be put in a book for those attending to see. You can email me the page or mail it to me. (Email me for a snail-mail address to send it in to.)
Here it is April 3rd and it's snowing here in Utah. Hoping you are having better spring weather.
